Umpqua CDC offers
the following opportunities for volunteers who would like to help with
our resident services programs:
-
Assist with holiday parties at
our multi-family complexes and our Holiday Giving program
(distributing turkeys, clothes, toys, and Christmas trees to
residents)
-
Down-under Gift Emporium: Issue
gift certificates to residents of our multi-family housing
complexes, and help them check out items from our gift store,
located in the basement of the Grand Apartments. Items are donated
through Gifts In Kind International, and include household items
from Bed, Bath, & Beyond, clothing, shoes, sundries from Ross and
Avon, toys, children's books and games, and more.

Assist or instruct arts and
crafts for our resident programs with emphasis on utilizing recycled
materials.
