Volunteer Opportunities

Umpqua CDC is a private non-profit corporation, established in 1991 to create affordable multi-family housing in Douglas County, OR. Since then, we have added many new services including single family housing, special needs housing, homeownership counseling and education, mutual self-help housing, resident services, financial fitness training, micro-enterprise development and lending, owner-occupied home rehab programs, IDA Savings programs, Heartwood ReSources, and two regional housing centers (Umpqua Regional Housing Center, servicing Douglas County, and Southern Oregon Coast Housing Opportunities Provider (SOCHOP), servicing Coos and Curry Counties.

Umpqua CDC is an equal opportunity provider, and when working with the hearing impaired, we sometimes need interpreters that know sign-language, speak other languages, such as Spanish, or to help us translate our program information into other languages. We also offer volunteer opportunities in the following areas:

Receptionist/General Office
Community Events
Resident Services
Teaching
Home Construction
Marketing

If you would like to volunteer, please send us your completed application and volunteer liability and photo release forms. You may mail them to:
