Technical
Assistance
Umpqua CDC
offers technical assistance to help with predevelopment or assessment,
leadership development, or other assistance needed to develop a project or write
a grant. We assist communities, nonprofit groups, agencies, and municipalities
in everything from feasibility studies and implementation of strategic plans to
financial management and Web site development and administration.

recent work include:

Myrtle
Point:
Development of the Ohlsen/Baxter Community Center that houses the OSU
Extension Services Administration offices.

Roseburg
Waterfront Improvement:
Work with the City of Roseburg to develop a master plan for improving the
waterfront area, making it more accessible, and encouraging more tourism.

Sunrise
Enterprises:
Assistance to procure engineering and funding for Sunrise to
develop their new site in Green. We provided and moved a 3,000 square foot
office building for Sunrise’s administrative functions and secured funding
to develop and engineering master plan for the full redevelopment. Sunrise
has a sheltered workshop that employs developmentally disabled residents.

UCAN:
Umpqua CDC is providing CDBG grant management for UCAN’s new administration
and food bank warehouse

UCAN:
Umpqua CDC is providing consulting services and project development
assistance for UCAN to acquire and preserve affordable senior and disabled
housing in Roseburg

Sutherlin
Senior Center:
Umpqua CDC is assisting the Sutherlin Seniors in their effort to expand and
improve their facility to better serve the seniors in north Douglas County.
