Technical Assistance

Umpqua CDC assists communities, non-profit groups, agencies, and municipalities with predevelopment or assessment, leadership development, or other assistance needed to develop a project, write a grant, or provide grant administration. Samples of recent work include:

Ohlsen/Baxter Community Center: Umpqua CDC helped with development of the facility, located in Myrtle Point, that houses the OSU Extension Services Administration offices, and soon to sport a new photo voltaic array to generate all of its energy requirements.
Sunrise Enterprises:  We provided and moved a 3,000 sq. ft. office building for Sunrise's administration and secured funding to develop and engineer the master plan for the full redevelopment. Sunrise has a sheltered workshop that employs developmentally disabled residents.
UCAN: Umpqua CDC provided CDBG consulting services, project development, and grant management for UCAN's new administration and food bank warehouse.

No photo available.

Sutherlin Senior Center: Umpqua CDC is assisting the Sutherlin Seniors in their effort to expand and improve their facility to better serve the seniors in north Douglas County.
