Housing Programs

Umpqua CDC is committed to helping low-income residents in Coos, Curry, and Douglas Counties in Southwest Oregon to obtain affordable housing. We offer the following programs:

Rentals

We have constructed or rehabbed over 300 multifamily low-income rental and special needs units in 16 complexes in Coos, Curry, and Douglas Counties, and have 98 units in 5 complexes under construction or being rehabbed.

Home Rehab Programs

We manage several housing rehab programs for residents of Coos, Curry, and Douglas Counties.

Homebuyer Programs

We assist first time or low-income homebuyers to obtain decent, safe, structurally sound, and affordable homes with down payment assistance and loan financing.

Single Family Home Construction

We construct solar and energy efficient homes, and offer a Mutual Self-Help Housing program, where groups of families work together with volunteers under the instruction of our Construction Supervisor, to build each other's homes.

Income Guidelines

Our single family housing department can now help you with many of your lending needs. Here are some of the programs and services we offer.
  • Low interest down payment assistance
  • Low interest closing cost assistance
  • First and second mortgages
  • Oregon bond, conventional and non-conforming mortgages.
