Housing Programs

Umpqua CDC helps low-income residents in Coos, Curry, and Douglas Counties in Southwest Oregon obtain housing they can afford through:

Rentals

We have constructed or rehabbed over 340 multifamily low-income rental and special needs units in 18 complexes in Coos, Curry, and Douglas Counties, and have 64 units in development or being rehabbed.

Home Rehab Programs

We have several housing rehab programs to help existing homeowners repair and improve the energy efficiency of their homes.

Homebuyer Programs

We help homebuyers to obtain decent structurally sound and affordable homes with down payment assistance, second mortgages and deferred loans for special circumstances acquisition.

Single Family Home Construction

We construct solar and energy efficient homes, and offer a Mutual Self-Help Housing program, where groups of families work together with volunteers under the instruction of our Construction Supervisor, to build each other's homes.

Income Guidelines

Foreclosure Prevention and Mitigation

We offer foreclosure counseling and can help homeowners to refinance, prevent a potential foreclosure, or assess their options when facing foreclosure.
