HISTORIC REHAB

Umpqua CDC helps communities rehab and restore historic structures as part of neighborhood and downtown revitalization efforts. Our projects include the Grand Hotel in Roseburg, Washington School in Oakland, and several historic homes.

Currently we are restoring the Hotel North Bend in North Bend, OR.

Before After
The Hotel North Bend was originally designed by architect John E. Tourtellotte and constructed in 1921. Today it is undergoing a major renovation by Umpqua CDC that will create 33 units of low-moderate income housing and 2 commercial spaces.
Before After
The Grand Hotel sat empty for nearly 50 years. Umpqua CDC restored the building creating 37 affordable rental units.
